Budget accommodation in Lovina – North Bali?

I’m looking for accommodation in Lovina that is cheap, yet hopefully bearable. I’m considering either the Puri Bali or the Angsoka. Any comments on these?

My friend and I went to Lovina a couple of years ago, we travel to Bali at least once or twice a year, we found it very quiet. Nice place though with the black volcanic sand etc. Most hotels had plenty of vacancies and we stayed at one on the beach which was nice and very cheap. Make sure when you get there you have a look at the room before you pay for it and don’t be afraid to say no and go on to the next one, it may take a bit longer but you will end up with something better and a lot of places will give it to you cheaper than the advertised price. Have a great holiday!!

I agree with the Hotel Aneka. It’s only a 2 star, but was very nice. Individual cottages, very clean, right on the beach, swimming pool, restaraunt, evening entertainment.
They also do a dolphin watching tour which was great. You get up before sunrise, and go out in a boat. When the sun starts to come up you can watch the dolphins. They come right up and play around the boat.
    Have fun
