Does budget longstay accommodation exist in Melbourne, Australia,apart from backpackers ?

Im coming to melbourne to stay for a year,and need somewhere to stay(non shared accommodation) for 3 plus months until i can get my bearings and find some work.Is there an equivalent to the ymca or ywca
hostels have a maximum stay of 30 nights!!!!! if anybody knows of any that are longer please let me know

so this means that you don’t want to stay in a hostel?
they’re the best places to stay if you’re on a budget.
