I want to take the family to North Wales on holiday in July and wondered if anyone knows of cheap accommodation (Hotel, Lodge, or Static caravan) near Porthmadog or Caernarfon. I want to stay for 3 nights starting 19th july 2010. My budget for accommodation is £200 – £300 but obviously the cheaper the accommodation the more to spend on things to do.. Please do not include camp sites as I have been there and done that and with my tribe it just doesn’t work.

There are a couple of static caravan parks in the Dinas beach area (south west of Caernarfon) but check out the locations on a map carefully – it can be a bit of a drive to tourist attractions other than Dinas beach.

I’m looking to visit my girlfriend in Milwaukee from the dates of July 13th to July 21st. I found a cheap plane ticket, but I can’t find a place to stay that’s within my price range.

There’s Marquette university, which is advertised as $17 a night, but my girlfriend called them and said it’s actually $43 a night.

Our only option is an extended stay hotel, which is $225 a week…but I kinda want to stay for 10 days, not 7. I don’t know if they have daily rates. But even that is stretching the limits of my available budget. (I probably wouldn’t be able to afford 10 days with them even if they did have daily rates.)

Can anyone help me out here?

My family and I are going to Tokyo for a few days in January next year. There are 6 in my family and we are struggling to find rooms that sleep 6. Everything we find is always 3 or 4.
We do want it to be close to the city and not too expensive.
