Are houses even on ranches? Haha, i’m confused, and since i don’t live on a ranch i’m not sure. Any help would be good. Ty (:
Oh, and this is for something i’m writing, hence the section i picked.
Or a farmhouse to be on a ranch?
Houses are houses. It is entirely possible (though it virtually never happens) for houses of identical architecture to be on: a farm (in which case it could be called a farmhouse), a ranch (ranch house) or a street in a suburb of Washington DC (in which case it would be called just a house). It’s what people LIVE in and doesn’t need to be different just because they live on a ranch. Since farm and ranch families often involve large and/or "extended" families, the houses on those places are often larger than the typical one in suburbia. but otherwise they are no different.
Wise old advice – write about what you KNOW and not about things you are unfamiliar with, or else do a whole lot of research.

It’s the Red Hats Birthday and to mark the occasion it was decided to go and visit Sandringham our Queens country house.
