Brand lines are too blurred now. You really need to define which labels you want people to compare since a lot of 'regular' labels market cars that compete with some of the 'luxury' cars on the market.

Cadillac, Lexus, Infiniti, Acura, Lincoln, MB, BMW, Jaguar, Rover, ... who else? Do you count Chrysler?

Out of that quick list, Lincoln is the standout for least desirable, at least to me.
References :
Do you mean American companies or cars sold in America.

Land Rover has the worst quality ratings.

Chrysler doesn't have a luxury division. Between Lincoln and Cadillac I would say Lincoln is worse than Cadillac.

All three of the major Japanese luxury division are good (Lexus, Infinite, and Acura) I would rate Lexus & Infinite even at the top with Acura a close second only because I am not a fan of Acura styling.

BMW quality is better than Mercedes right now.

If I was buying here is my list in order of worst to best.

1. Land Rover
2. Lincoln
3. Cadillac
4. Mercedes
5. BMW
6. Acura
7. Lexus
8. Infinite

I did not include the "ultra" luxury vehicles (Ferrari, Rolls, Porsche, etc) because they are too far out of reach for the general public.
